True Love

In true love, you attain freedom.
When you love, you bring freedom to the person you love.
If the opposite is true, it is not true love.
You must love in such a way that the person you love feels free,
not only outside but also inside.
โ€œDear one,
do you have enough space
in your heart and all around you?โ€
This is an intelligent question
for testing whether your love is something real.

  1. What a lovely quote, and perfect accompanying image! I have just been considering this very thing: how I have failed to provide a sense of freedom to my love, and how, conversely, I have felt constricted by another’s expectations in “love.” Well worth considering, and remedying as we are able.

    • I think sometimes people in love or just family loving each other, confuse that love with a kind of ownership filled with expectations,as you write. Not a unconditional love, trust and freedom. Maybe we have to much trust issues, I really don’t know. It is a good question though. Thank you Cate ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. I have immersed myself in this wonderful section of your website. I’m using MacBook and seeing it all in its true splendour. Have bookmarked it too and added it to my short list of a few favourite sites.
