In flight

Lately I’ve been trying to capture insects in flight with my little point & shoot camera. Let me tell you it has not been easy. By now my neighbours probably think I’m a mental case as I was doing this practice in my garden. Looking all crazy chasing after insects.

This reminds me of something that happens to me a lot taken photos in public. Standing in all kinds of funny positions, aiming both high and low, sitting near the riverside going back, forth and sometimes in circles. People tend to ask if I’m doing okay, bless them. So I have to point to my little red camera and explain that I’m fine, just taking pictures. I’m now seriously considering investing in a huge camera with every accessories in the world….

Nope, don’t think so, that would make my walkabouts really difficult.

      1. A little canon powershot. Stopped using automatic setting and have tried different settings. That improved the pictures al lot, at least I think so šŸ™‚

One day when I was laying in the grass photographing a week, my neighbor came over concerned I was unconscious. GRIN!!! Yep, my neighbors have seen me do a LOT of nutty things all for a photograph.
