Wasted opportunities

“Man surprised me most about humanity. Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money.
Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived.”

  1. Wishing my husband would read these words, Ann. Oh did they ever strike home! To see a man work in an environment that he did not like and that caused health problems all because of money, and to watch that same man shelf his talent … and always worry about money … I wish he would read inspirational quotes like this one, and really THINK. Perhaps his new camera will be the “fix” he needs to keep him in the NOW. Thank you, Ann. (((HUGS))) Amy
